Our Mission
Our mission is to document, preserve, and share accurate information about the Uyghur people and related human rights issues through independent reporting and storytelling. We are committed to amplifying marginalized voices, promoting transparency, and raising global awareness without political or corporate influence. Through research, journalism, and community engagement, we aim to inform, educate, and inspire meaningful understanding and action.
Why We Are Anonymous
The Uyghur Report remains anonymous to reduce bias and limit outside influence on its reporting. By keeping contributors’ identities private, the project encourages readers to focus on the evidence and information presented rather than on personal backgrounds, political affiliations, or public reputations. Anonymity also helps protect the integrity of the reporting process by minimizing external pressure, targeted influence, and attempts to shape coverage based on individual identities.
